Exquisite Stay

This Villa will surprize you the moment you walk in the door! The views are absolutely exquisite. This setting is the Meditteranean of Phuket Asia. I had no idea there was anything as good as this in Phuket. The turquoise blue ocean that you see over the turquoise infinity pool, set high in the hills protected by a headland was absolutely stunning.. It was so peaceful, quiet, and so perfect for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of any city. Just what I needed to unwind and relax. The staff were really lovely and sweet. Everything was well kept, attended to, clean and comfy. The Cook made very tasty Thai meals for dinner, probably the best I have ever had. The breakfast offered all my favourite choices and the fresh orange juice was very delicious. Cocktails by the pool from the complimentary bar and sipping these watching the sunset was the best way to end a beautiful day. There is a fabulous hotel next door with a short easy stroll to a great restaurant overlooking more incredible views. Overall, a wonderful weekend getaway. I highly recommend this luxurious Villa. You are very fortunate, if you get a chance to stay here. You don't want to miss it!!

Spectacular - the most amazing holiday

This villa is spectacular. If I could rate it more than excellent, I would. I stayed there over Christmas and New Year with my husband, 2 children (aged 7&11), my mum and dad and my sister. The villa is huge; the bedrooms are all something very special with beautiful views and wonderful luxurious bathrooms (2 with outside showers as an extra!) The infinity pool is beautiful and the view out to sea breathtaking. The sunsets are gorgeous. There are sunbeds, swingbeds, big basket seats; plenty of room for everyone around the pool and living areas. The staff are friendly and unassuming as they do their jobs around the villa. The food is out of this world; absolutely wonderful. The location of the villa is great; 5 minutes walk to Kata Noi beach in one direction and 5 minute walk to Kata beach in the other. Loads of restaurants within striking distance but nothing beat the Villa food! We had treatments by the pool on Christmas day and the staff helped us book fishing trips and Phi Phi island trips. Altogether the best holiday ever. Go. You won't regret it!

Furthermore, it was luxurious and palacial with a helpful team of staff to cater to your every need. The food was authenitc Thai cuisine cooked with fresh ingredients from the local market. Holidaying like a royal!

If you are looking to live like a king in a tropical country, in a palace where you eat the freshest and most delicious thai food then this is definitely the place to stay! Went with a massive group of friends and catered to all our needs. The staff were absolutely amazing and prepared and cooked our food better than what could have found anywhere else. Conveniently located between 2 beaches meant getting to the beach was no dramas if we could some how pull ourselves away from the amazing infinity pool. Once again don't pass up the pleasure of staying here you wont regret it.

Best Place to Stay in Phuket

Couldn't imagine or actually build and create such an amazing place to stay if I tried. Instantly felt at home and comfortable, some of the best thai food cooked in house meant it was a waist of time eating anywhere else. Me and My spouse had a wonderful relaxing time with our 6 children with them all fitting in easily. Not once have we experienced such a relaxing family holiday.

Family Holiday

11 family members spent the week together at Baan Saleah. What a wonderful holiday! The villa was first class and Noi and the staff were amazing, always there to assist and very pleasant. The views were spectacular and we all made good use of the incredible infinity pool. Would highly recommend the villa for anyone wanting to visit Thailand. Thank you Adele for your assistance in booking your remarkable villa.

Words can not describe how fantastic and amazing the villa is.I would recommend booking this villa to everyone. The staff are amazing and so efficient and welcoming. The villa and views are breathtaking if you want to visit thailand then this is the place to stay. The beach is minutes away the shops and restaurants are walking distance and a great night out. If you want luxury and relaxation this is the place to stay you won't want to leave. We had an amazing honeymoon the staff helped us to book it trips and cooked us the best food we ate in thailand. Thankyou so much adele for letting us book this amazing villa and sharing paradise with us.

Can't wait to go back!

We visited just before them (October 5-12) and just loved it. Initially apprehensive, as we were first timers and were being accompanied by our mother who finds it difficult with steps and long walks, all our apprehensions were laid to rest immediately upon entering the villa by the superb staff. So this review is mainly dedicated to them. Firstly, Khun Noi, the villa manager, who added the personal touch and made us feel at HOME. Da and Deun are superb cooks. Take this from an avid Thai food fan who has been visiting Thailand regularly for over twenty years. Trust me the food is Awesome and nothing less. Variety, taste and adaptability to our specific tastes (we like our curries spicy) Apart from the normal Thai food, we went into Patong to the sea food market one day and got fresh lobster, crab and jumbo prawns. It was grilled to perfection. Peak is the handy man around the house and always willing to accomodate any request. I am grateful to all of them for the extra special care they took of my mom who remained mainly at home and required frequent attention. We stayed a week and did not want to leave-we got so cozy and comfortable. Massage ladies would turn up within short notice. Nothing was impossible for Da, Deun and Peak. The credit for all this goes to Noi who manages them superbly. As for the villa itself, simply outstanding. Better than a 5 star hotel and cheaoer in the end. Modern, clean to perfection, well managed, outstanding views and yet just a stones throw away from the thick of things in Kata. Quite frankly, we were so happy, we hardly left. If there is one criticism, and I hope Noi will get this fixed, is the light from the upper windows in the rooms. Some of us got disturbed as they were waking up early due to it. Personally, it did not bother me at all. My compliments to the owners who have managed to maintain the villa in top top condition over the years.

Nothing but praise!

We have just returned from nearly two weeks at this stunning villa with 2 other couples and while we dont want to let the cat out of the bag its time to heap praise on all concerned and on the villa itself. Booking process - I booked directly with the owner, Adele, and the whole process was effortless and she was more than happy to answer any questions we had. If you are booking from Australia remember to tell her this as it makes payment arrangements easier. Arrival - we were picked up at the airport by Mr. Paul and taken to the villa where we were met by Noi the managing agent, Da, Duan and Peak, the cooks and villa attendants. Frozen watermelon juice and a magnificent dinner awaited us. The villa - Magnificent says it all. The bedrooms and ensuites are very comfortable and well laid out. Sheets, towels and toiletries are all top quality. Great to have airconditioning and ceiling fans. Great tv room with some DVDs. Lovely indoor lounge and dining area and a large patio for outdoor dining which we did a lot. The villa is fresh, airy and well laid out. The pool etc - I reckon this is one of the best pools we have been in. Very private, shade or sun, easy access to toilets, drinks fridge, bedrooms etc. Great lounges, outdoor beanbags, sala etc. Great view as well. The food - The staff really know how to cook and we ate the best food we have had in a long time. We mainly left it up to the staff to decide what we were eating and they provided a varied and tasty menu. The cost was so low we were amazed. The staff - lovely, gracious people. Their understanding of english is low but with patience it is possible to get them to understand your wishes. As we are visiting their country it is good to understand their customs etc. and try to communicate with them in a slow and polite manner so they understand. They were able to arrange special requests, drivers etc without any issues. Overall - Exceptional and truly unique. Well worth the cost and we will definately be going back. Bookings are becoming heavier which is good for the owners but will make it harder to get in. There are a lot of stairs which is good for fitness but not good for children and those with mobility issues. Everything was perfect and you only had to ask and your request was met with a smile. Well done to everyone concerned.

Sheer Bliss

4 girlfriends stayed at Baan Saleah for a week Sept 2012 and we cannot begin to tell how awesome Baan Saleah is. From the moment you walk in the door you are in heaven, from the four huge, private bedrooms with massive ensuites, magnificent media room (complete with DVD's) the fabulously stocked bar (mostly free) the best pool and pavillion ever to the best cooks in Thailand - Duane and Do, you are responsible for sending us home to our husbands fat and very, very happy. Location is perfect, a short walk down the hill to Kata Beach, we also all felt Kata beach was the nicest beach in Phuket. We will return, of that we have no doubt, it is just a matter of when not if.

It doesn't get better than this

I'm almost loath to write this review because we plan on going back and I'm worried this little gem will be discovered and booked when we want it! We stayed in this villa for a family reunion with family traveling from all corners of the globe to convene. We couldn't have hoped to find a nicer place. Rock star quality, the sort of place you'd see on MTV Cribs. The villa is very well sized and beautifully finished. Importantly for us all the rooms were of equally large size with wonderful en suites. This left everyone feeling like they'd scored a good room, so Family World War on day 1 avoided. I would say that the professional pictures don't really do the villa justice. This was a pleasant surprise as it's usually the other way. The staff were fantastic and especially great with the kids. The Thai food they cooked was also top draw and they were able to make us special dishes. I recommend the green papaya salad especially. All in all, much better than a hotel and totally fabulous.

Stunningly grand villa exceeded all expectations

We stated for 5 nights at Baan Saleah. The best thing about the holiday was the great family time at the Villa which is an absolute treat. With 4 massive modern, beautifully furnished bedrooms its more like a 5 star hotel then a Villa. Each bedroom has a huge ensuite and brand new bathrooms with great showers and private spaces, offering the utmost comfort. The tranquility of the villa has to be experienced to be believed. With a stunning deck, sparkling infinity pool overlooking the ocean, beautiful plants, waterfall, outdoor pool shower, second kitchen for pool access and a gorgeous poolside pagoda with fan, outdoor lounge and swinging day-board really made for a dream poolside experience everyday. Great staff made us feel welcome and looked after. Would not go anywhere else in Phuket but this Villa, just a five minute walk down the hill to Kata Beach.

Baan Saleah - Our favourite villa

This is our third stay at Baan Saleah and we look forward to our next visit. The villa is 5 star with amazing views and friendly, hospitable staff. All 4 bedrooms are like hotel rooms with plenty of room and big bathrooms. Each time we come here our family and friends comment on how it was one of their best holidays. Relaxing by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoying delicious Thai meals, exploring Phuket - what more could you ask for. The location is perfect as only a 3min walk away from beautiful Kata Noi beach and 5 min walk to Kata Beach shops and restaurants. We would like to thank the staff, once again, for making our stay so memorable and relaxing. Our 2 year old daughter had so much fun and we look forward to coming back in November.

Luxe Villa

From the moment we arrived at Baan Saleah we were excited. The villa is stunning with four fabulous bedrooms each with their own exquisite bathrooms (this was a highlight for me - amazing bath tubs, in door/out door shower) looking over the infinity pool and the vista to the sea. While the pics on the web are good, we personally didn't feel they did the villa justice. Believe me it is better in real life. In addition to the fab decor, the staff were faultless and the food was to die for. We got to pick the daily menu and sit back and salivate over every single dish. We have lived in Thailand but this was by far and away some of the best meals we have ever eaten. We loved it and would definitely go back ! Did I mention that the staff also cleaned the rooms, pool and house daily and we had masseuses come in on demand. Oh heaven!!!!!

Great Family Villa

We stayed at Baan Saleah for a few nites in Jan'12. What you see in the websites are exactly what you get in reality. Breakfast at the Villa was fantastic with great view of the sea and close to nature. We spent most of the time around the pool which was our favourite place, lounging and relaxing. Bedrooms are clean and huge with plenty of space everywhere. You can literally play hide and seek in the Villa. It is close to Kata Beach shops and massage so you dun have to go too far. I brought my 5 months old baby along and the staff always help take care of him. This was a great help. Definitely will consider this place again on next trip to Phuket.

Fantastic Stay!

4 couples on a get-away trip from Singapore found the Villa absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere, great rooms, nice layout, nothing spared in order to make it as luxurious as one was expecting (and even then some). The infinitypool was nice. The location was perfect in order for you to find whatever you needed (the small Kata village just some footsteps away, plus restaurants and a more quieter beach on the other side). The staff was pleasant and providing the best services. The food was amazing (mostly thai-food) and delicious! Everything was thought of in order to make our stay relaxing, easy and pleasant. Also the information on Phuket and restaurants in the neighborhood available in the house proved in handy and reliable. The villa easily catered for 8 adults in 4 big bedrooms, and can easily welcome families too.

Star Villa - one of the best

Hello we stayed at Baan Saleah with family and friends during December and found it to be really great - it is much better than the pictures and we wanted to stay there because of them! The bedrooms are huge - the beds really comfortable and they have great staff who quietly seem to float around the villa making it all neat and tidy without us even knowing. The food is the best Thai I have ever eaten and it worked well as they shop and do everything and we just paid at the end of the stay (they gave us the original receipts) - so this villa should not be called a B and B because it is too up market for such a title - we are already planning our next visit there - loved it.

Great Location, Great Place, Great Villa

I enjoyed visiting this villa as it was quiet, exclusive and the service was extraordinary. The huge villa catered for our group easily as there is was many different areas to be relaxing in like the infinity pool overlooking the ocean, the quiet cabana with a huge swinging chair, the upper terrace or inside on the comfortable couches. The location was perfect as it was close to the beach and to local shops and areas- not that we wanted to leave this perfect location! The choice in pillows on the beds was an extraordinary added extra as we all have different styles of pillows that we prefer! This choice on top of the amazingly comfortable beds made our stay almost more comfortable than home!

Beautiful Villa

Baan Saleah is truly beautiful with luxurious rooms, great staff and an amazing view all in a peaceful and relaxing setting. The food is devine and the staff took care of our every need. A perfect place to holiday. Highly recommended.

An exclusive villa with a view!!

It is a great exclusive villa, with a magnificent view. Service is excellent and round the clock, you only need to bring yourself there and your friends off course. Great place, great location, and they have a butler service that can even cater a food next door (Mom's Tri kitchen, one of the best restaurant in Phuket). The huge bungalow villa is big enough to host events and you can throw big parties for your friends and family. A perfect choice.

Fabulous villa

Baan Saleah is an exquisite villa located between Kata beach and the quieter Kata Noi beach. The infinity pool overlooking the sea is perfect for a swim and all four rooms share wonderful views. The staff made us feel welcome and cooked lovely food. I'd definitely recommend this to friends and family.

A little slice of luxury

Put simply, this has got to be the location of a lifetime. The villa with its tranquil setting makes an ideal get away for busy professionals and couples. Strongly recommended for those who appreciate the finer things in life.

Look no further, this is IT

My wife and I have now stayed at Baan Saleah on three separate occasions, visiting first as a couple on a romantic weekend getaway, next a year later with friends and most recently in November 2011 for our wedding and honeymoon. We wanted Baan Saleah to be a part of the most important day of our life for one simple reason...it is without question the most spectacular villa in Phuket. Perched high up between Kata and Kata Noi beaches with million dollar sunset views, a stunning infinity pool, four tastefully designed bedrooms, huge bathrooms, a wonderful living room space that opens up to a balcony with amazing sea views and a separate cinema room with a good library of DVDs and surround sound, this is truly a haven for those wishing to get away from it all.

Beyond just the hard features, what really sets Baan Saleah apart from all others is the wonderful hospitality you are guaranteed to receive right from the moment you land into Phuket. We were picked up by Khun Paul from the airport (at a highly reasonable rate) and whisked to our villa in about an hour where a team of three - Khun Da, Khun Duan and Khun Pet - awaited us with genuine, warm, heartfelt hospitality. From the simple to the exquisite, western to Thai, fried rice and pad thai to tiger prawns, curries, and salads the cooking at Baan Saleah is phenomenal. The staff have had professional kitchen experience in the past and you are assured of top restaurant quality food served right in your stunning home…what’s more is it is at a fraction of the cost of eating in a restaurant as you are only charged the cost of the food purchased from the market. The food is so good; you will not want to eat out in town! Next to the swimming pool there is a fully stocked up fridge with soft drinks and beers charged at cost and on a corner of the living room a complimentary bar fully stocked with whiskeys and spirits.

Having been to Phuket for both work and pleasure more times than I can count, I must say that Kata is my most favoured location – it is not as quiet and isolated as Surin and definitely not as loud as Patong…a nice balanced mix of both that works very well. With Baan Saleah being in between Kata and Kata Noi, you have the option of heading to quieter Kata Noi beach or livelier Kata in about five minutes each way. If for any reason you ever wanted to venture out to eat, two of Phuket’s most respected dining venues are right at your doorstep…Mom Tri’s Kitchen Royale is adjacent to Baan Saleah and The Boathouse is a couple of minutes’ walk down the hill towards Kata. In Kata itself there are plenty of shops, bars etc to keep amused for the duration of your holiday.

At each visit we have been exceptionally well taken care of by the Baan Saleah team and by Khun Noi who looks after the villa and handles any requests you may have with ease and a big smile. Baan Saleah and the staff there have become an extended family to us and we are definitely going to be returning again, and again and again. For anyone considering options for that perfect holiday spot in Phuket, look no further…this is IT!

Incredible location with uninterrupted views - simply spectacular

My boyfriend and I recently travelled to Thailand with his parents and chose to stay at the spectacular Baan Salaeh Villa at Kata Beach. Walking through the beautiful entrance way filled with tropical plants and a stunning water feature, we started to feel any thoughts of work and life at home drip away, with a mindset of absolute relaxation taking hold.

We were greeted by the wonderful staff at Baan Salaeh with a delicious drink to cool us after our trip and an introduction to our surroundings. The staff really did look after us for the next week, waking us with the smell of crisping bacon and booking luxurious spa treatments by the pool. Our escape would not have been the same without them.

The rooms at Baan Salaeh are in a class of their own - with no hotel room really comparing with the luxury and clever design offered here. From the beautiful artwork created by the owner, to outdoor tropical showers and bath products to entice the senses, each room is of exemplary quality - with no two being quite the same.

The rooms lead out to the beautiful infinity pool, the centerpiece of the Villa. The vast expanse of water appears to continue to the ocean, which can be seen from all parts of the Villa. The pool is large enough for laps in the morning, yet perfect also for lying back on the steps and absorbing the sun.

Day trips are a breeze from the Villa, with the staff helping book trips to Patong and distant islands. Just as good are short trips down to Kata Beach to explore the shops or enjoy a short Jetski - for the more adventurous.

It was also great to have the opportunity to escape the sun, with a state-of-the-art sound system and home theatre perfectly designed for blocking out the midday heat. An afternoon movie with a cool drink is the perfect way to unwind after a hectic morning of lying by the pool.

Meals in the Villa are spectacular, with fresh produce bought daily to create the most incredible Thai dishes. Spicy salads and soups that tingled on the tongue were contrasted perfectly with delicious sweets. The music system that ran through the house provided the perfect backdrop to evenings watching the sunset over the beach.

The Villa was perfect for the group as we could stay separately, meeting for meals and drinks by the shared pool. Being able to have such privacy within an open space was an absolute luxury and a testament to the unparalleled design of the Villa.

I will and already have recommended to friends and family to stay at the incredible Villa. It really is an experience I will never forget.

Perfect setting for an amazing holiday

The most incredible holiday I have been on. As soon as we arrived we were spoilt by the fantastic staff. The bedrooms are all very well appointed and each is finished in its own unique style. Perfectly positioned between the two Kata beaches. There is plenty to see and do only a short stroll down the hill to the local village shops. We are looking forward to returning ASAP!

The most perfect holiday location

I have never stayed anywhere as exquisite as this villa. The design, decor and attention to detail is second to none. The fantastic view, the superb pool, the walk to the lovely beach of Kata Noi or down into the village, the marvellous food, the friendly staff, all contributed to the most wonderful holiday - there are not enough superlatives to describe it all and I certainly couldn't find any fault at all.

Unbelievable location, fabulous service, topnotch decor

We arrived from the UK and spent a week at this amazing villa. First, the views over the sea were stunning with a fabulous vista over the pool, past the palm trees to the sea and the island in the distance. The bedrooms and en-suites are amazing, so good that we borrowed a lot of ideas for our own refurbishment back in the UK. The in-house staff were polite and discrete, with wonderful in-house food provided when required. Locally, there are two excellent hotels, one of which has particularly beautiful views and an excellent wine sellar - one of my best ever lunches! Have a siesta by the pool in the afternoon, enjoy an aperitf and stroll down to the sea on the path behind the house to observe the sunset by the rock pools in tranquilily. You can't go wrong here!

Stunning villa with ocean views and fabulous amenities

My family and I recently stayed for a week at Baan Saleah in Phuket. From the moment we arrived we felt special, not only with the quality and amenities in the villa but the friendly staff made our stay truely memorable. The villa has a stunning pool overlooking the ocean. A seperate media room to relax in away from the sun and all the bedrooms are beautifully appointed and offer a special experience for the guests. Our family very much look forward to visiting the villa again!

Beautiful villa in the perfect location in Phuket

1st ROW Waterfront Luxury Villa With CHEF.

We had a grand time at Baan Saleah. It was the perfect fit for our group! All of the bedrooms were so nice and the fact that they basically were all of the same quality set Baan Saleah apart from other villas where all bedrooms aren't always created equal. The house was so relaxing, peaceful and beautiful. It actually showed better in person than in the photos online. We loved it. The staff were terrific and looked after our every need. Khun Noi and Khun Ging were fabulous. We couldn't have chosen a better spot to enjoy ourselves. We had made bookings at the fabulous Baray Spa which was just a few minutes away at Sawasadee Village, Mom Tri's kitchen was literally right next door where we had made our birthday dinner reservations and we rented a sailboat which left out of Chalong so it was only a short drive away. Everything was perfect. The Thai food at Baan Saleah was delicious and we even had the staff make hamburgers and fries on the last day which were yummy too. Our only regret was that we weren't able to stay for 2 weeks!!

Absolutely beautiful

We had the most amazing time - cannot even put into words how beautiful your property was and how relaxed and special your staff made us feel.

Everything was absolutely beautiful and we could'nt have found a nicer place for us to celebrate our 40th birthdays together.

It was totally out of this world, and we will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Phuket.

Once again thank you so much for everything and please say hi to all your villa staff - the service that they provided was nothing short of outstanding

Wonderful villa

I wanted to drop you a brief email to thank you for the wonderful villa you have here in Kata. I must confess that it has lived up to the description and photos perfectly and Da, Duan and Pia have made the experience so far quite incredible, from the food to the seamless service with a smile. They really are lovely, and Noi has also been efficient and good to deal with.

I am here with my wife Siobhan, our 4 children and my sister in law, Sive to celebrate my 50th on Jan 1st and everyone is having a really chilled time. We have fallen in love with Phuket, especially when contrasted with a wet and chilly London that we left behind 5 days ago.

You and your husband are to be commended to have made this property so stunning to visit and comfortable to stay in. We have villas in France and Spain that I am finally considering to holiday lease and I take a lot of pointers from what you have provided here, although I don't think it would be possible to provide the same level of personal service that you have achieved with your Thai staff.

The most magical weekend

I just wanted to thank you for what was truly the most magical weekend we have enjoyed in a very long time. Baan Saleah was simply wonderful. From the moment we stepped into the door and were greeted by frozen hand-towels and chilled freshly squeezed watermelon juice, till they delivered us to the airport late last night, the whole experience was magical. Kun Noi and her team are amazing and my god, despite having lived in Bangkok, I would go so far as to say the food we ate was amongst the best meals I've ever eaten. I just wanted to bottle that woman up and have her come home to cook for me daily.

There were 8 adults in total, no children, so we just enjoyed ourselves to the full, food, wine, swimming, relaxing and daily massages. It was a weekend I think we will all remember for a long time to come, so thank you, thank you.

A dream poolside experience

We stayed for 5 nights at Baan Saleah. The best thing about the holiday was the great family time at the villa which is an absolute treat. With 4 massive modern, beautifully furnished bedrooms it's more like a 5-star hotel than a Villa. Each bedroom has a huge en-suite and brand new bathrooms with great showers and private spaces, offering the utmost comfort. The tranquility of the villa has to be experienced to be believed. With a stunning deck, sparkling infinity pool overlooking the ocean, beautiful plants, waterfall, outdoor pool shower, second kitchen for pool access and a gorgeous poolside pagoda with fan, outdoor lounge and swinging day-board, really made for a dream poolside experience everyday.

Great staff made us feel welcome and well looked after. Would not go anywhere else in Phuket but this villa, just a five minute walk down the hill to Kata Beach.
